A Closer Look: Fernet Lola
Fernet Lola is a fruit brandy based fernet infused with 15 different herbs, botanicals, and spices with regional ties to South America. Our iteration of fernet is a combination of old school methods and contemporary practices which results in a well balanced, round spirit. Fernet Lola better suits a wide variety of palates and cocktail applications. It was first released in 2017 in collaboration with Jessica Lambert and Mike Ryan of the Kimpton Gray Hotel for Boleo in Chicago.
In contrast with many other fernets available on the market, which are built upon neutral grain or beet distillates, Fernet Lola highlights the Brandy method of fernet making found in some areas of South America. This technique utilizes regional brandy as the base of their fernets.
