A Closer Look: Pear Brandy

Our Pear Brandy is single varietal and showcases the rich flavors of the bartlett pear. We bring in up to 40,000 lbs of pears per year from small farms in Michigan. Bartlett pears are similar to the Williams pear, which grows throughout Germany and Austria. All of the fruit is hand sorted and mashed in the distillery. Fermentation takes three weeks in 100% stainless steel tanks before it is distilled. We use a Column Still imported from Germany to create the distillate, which then rests in stainless steel for a minimum of 9 weeks before being filtered and bottled. Order Pear Brandy for pickup!
